Optical Art and Constellation by Ludovic Roth
A series of drawings by Ludovic Roth, limited edition of 20, on fine art paper.
On the paper, the celestial coordinates draw kinetic shapes under the full and untied of a black felt pen.
Taking a group of neighbouring stars on the celestial sphere, each figure hides a symbol, an allegory, a conventional figure given one of the 12 names of the zodiac.
Everyone finds or loses himself there: the drawing erases or reveals the meaning in order to retain only the form.
